Bishop
G. Randolph Gurley and his wife, Dr. Manon Gurley, came to
The Tabernacle Church from Lakeland, Florida in January of
1998. Their family includes three children and four grandchildren.
Dr. Manon is French Canadian, speaking both French and English.
The Gurleys have planted churches and schools, and conducted
numerous evangelistic crusades worldwide. They speak at pastoral
and leadership conferences, teach seminars, and classes in
Biblical studies and theology. Bishop Gurley is Executive
Vice President of Vision International University and Chairman
of the Board of Regents. Vision has over 130 campuses in
the United States and in 100 foreign nations. Dr. Gurley
has also authored three books: "My Brother's Keeper", a study in world evangelism, "Light
Not White", the church and racism, and the origin of the races.
His most recent book "The Ninth Man" is a fiction story based
on the ten lepers healed by Jesus in the book of Luke that is
aimed at encouraging those who are struggling with infirmities
and incurable diseases. Bishop Gurley is the President and Apostolic
Overseer of Harvest International Ministerial Fellowship and
world mission organization. The fellowship consists of over
4,000 Pastors in various countries around the world which includes
Africa, India, Latin America, Pakistan, Southeast Asia and the
United States. The Gurleys have an anointed cross-cultural ministry
that brings a word of truth, healing, and deliverance. They
have a heart for God's people, as well as those who need to
find and know God. They serve the congregation and the surrounding
community with great compassion and commitment. Dr. Manon Gurley,
a gifted counselor and teacher co-pastors The Tabernacle
with her husband. She is a member of the American Society of
Christian Therapists and the American Association of Christian
Counselors. She has a PhD in Christian counseling and directs
the counseling department for personal, marital, and family
counseling. Dr. Manon is on the national faculty of Vision Christian
University. She teaches college courses and speaks at women
conferences in the U.S. and abroad. Dr. Manon is the International
President of women's ministries for Harvest International.
